Here's What's Really Going On-
You can't just "stand up straighter" your way out of postural imbalance. Trust me, if it were that easy, everyone would have perfect posture. The problem is your body's already adapted to compensate, and those patterns are locked in through muscle imbalances and joint restrictions.
When your posture's off, some muscles work overtime while others basically check out. Your joints bear uneven loads. Over time, this creates pain and actually accelerates wear and tear on your spine.
We assess how your body's actually moving—not just how you look standing still. Where are the imbalances? Which muscles are too tight? Which are too weak? What joints aren't moving right?
Chiropractic adjustments help restore normal joint mechanics. But that's just part of it. We'll usually recommend specific exercises to strengthen the weak areas and stretch the tight ones. The goal's retraining your body to move efficiently.
Improving posture isn't about achieving some perfect ideal—it's about reducing strain so your body can function without constant pain or fatigue. When your structure's more balanced, movement becomes easier and you've got more energy because you're not fighting against yourself all day.
